About us
The Bouda MÁMA Guesthouse is found in Pec pod Sněžkou in the picturesque and peaceful surroundings of the Krkonoše National Park. The guesthouse itself lies at an altitude of 950 metres above sea level and is 120 metres from the chairlift that goes up the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, Sněžka (1602 metres above sea level). The River Úpa rounds off the whole character of the landscape.
The guesthouse offers top quality above-standard services. The guesthouse offers BOWLING, an INDOOR POOL, a FLOODLIT TENNIS COURT (used in winter as an ice rink), a WHIRLPOOL, a SAUNA, a GYM, a SUNTANBED, BILLIARDS, OUR OWN GARAGES, TABLE TENNIS, DARTS, TABLE SKITTLES, etc.

We have enough accommodation to hold 50 guests in 1-5 bedded rooms with half-board. Breakfast is served in the style of a buffet and dinner is offered from a choice of two meals. Every room has its own en-suite facilities (shower, WC), TV, satellite, or even a safe. The entire guesthouse is fully provided with anti-allergic covers and so even those of us who suffer from allergies can enjoy a stay here.

The summer season offers ideal conditions for sport on the floodlit tennis court with artificial surface (tennis, volleyball, leg tennis, badminton), as well as table tennis, bowling, billiards, and table skittles. Summer is also perfect for long trips over the mountain ridges and short, curative walks. For more discerning clients, the nearby village of Mladé Buky (16 km) offers one of the most modern golf courses in the Czech Republic. The complex offers a practice range with 11 booths, a nine-hole course, and a top-class eighteen-hole course. The course itself lies in the backdrop of the romantic landscape that is offered by the slopes of the Krkonoše Mountains. In winter, this area is ideal for cross-country skiing, offering as it does a wealth of different tracks, and also has something for downhill skiers and snowboarders on the 11 slopes of the ski complex. Skiing is also possible at night. We will transport you to the ski complex free of charge in our very own Skibus. We can also offer guests a 200 metre-long ski-tow that is suitable for younger skiers right beside the guesthouse.
Visitors to the guesthouse will also be able to sit on the sun terrace in both winter and summer, enjoy some food from the grill, or savour some outstanding Czech cuisine, including the specialties of the chef.
The "Pomezní boudy" border crossing with Poland is only around 14 km away.
One of the greatest experiences to be had here is undoubtedly to take the cable car up the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, Sněžka, which provides visitors with an incredible and unmatched view of the surrounding mountain peaks.
