Pec p. Sněžkou ski resort news

21. 11. 2012
Maybe you haven’t yet heard that the Pec pod Sněžkou ski resort will for the next 20 years be operated by the company MegaPlus. This company has years of experience with the operation of the neighbouring ski resort of Černá Hora.

This means that both resorts will be combined under one name SKIresort Černá Hora – Pec, and as a result, by Czech standards, there is a significant increase in the number of chair lifts, drag lifts and ski runs available. SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA - PEC will offer 6 chair lifts, 33km of ski runs and 33 drag lifts, all accessible using a single ski pass.

SkiResort Pec pod Sněžkou - Velká Úpa has 14km of ski runs of various difficulties, 2 chair lifts and 13 drag lifts. The skiing terrain is particularly favoured by families with children because they can choose from nursery slopes to demanding downhill runs. Evening skiing is possible on two floodlit runs at Javor in Pec pod Sněžkou and Modřín in Velká Úpa. A track is also maintained for cross country skiers.

A new feature for this year is the introduction of ski busses by the ski resort that run regularly according to a timetable. To use them it is necessary to buy a ski-bus pass. However, this does not apply to guests at the Bouda Máma wellness hotel. They can use the hotel ski buss free of charge.
